Wandless

Rifts tear open in your real walls. You answer with your hands.

A mixed-reality spellcasting roguelite for Apple Vision Pro. No controllers, no wand — the game reads your actual hands, and the monsters come out of your actual room.

What it is

Space-time cracks open onto your walls, your floor, and the air of your own room — where they open is decided by the room itself, not by a dice roll, so the game is different at every address. Things climb out of them.

You fight back with two hands and nothing else. Make a fist and open it palm-up, and an elemental orb forms in your hand. Look at a creature to lock on, then throw your other hand forward to fire. Raise both palms and a ward blooms between you and whatever is coming.

Below the room is a descent of twenty-four depths. Every third floor the grimoire opens and offers you three cards; every sixth floor something much larger is waiting. At the bottom there is a dragon, and you can only ever see it through the holes it tears.

How it plays

The beta

TestFlight Opening soon The public TestFlight link will be posted here once Apple's beta review clears it. Until then, email below and I'll send you an invite directly.
What I most need from testers: whether the gestures hold up in your room — different sizes, different lighting, different amounts of furniture. That is the one thing I cannot test alone.

Requirements

DeviceApple Vision Pro
SystemvisionOS 2.0 or later
InputHand tracking only — no controllers, no accessories
SpaceRoom-scale. You will physically step sideways to dodge, so leave yourself a couple of metres of clear floor.
SessionA full descent runs about 45 minutes. You can stop at any depth; your run is saved.

Support

One person makes this. Bug reports, crashes, gestures that would not fire, ideas — all welcome, and all read.

Privacy

Wandless has no networking code in it at all. Your hand poses and your room's geometry are read on the device, used to draw the current frame, and never stored or sent anywhere.
