AC Matrix does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. The app contains no networking code, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not require an account.
Camera
A slide can be set to advance when the camera sees a hand gesture rather than a tap. When such a slide is performing, the app reads the camera feed to detect the position of your fingers, using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Frames are processed in memory and discarded immediately. They are never recorded, never stored and never transmitted. The camera does not run at any other time.
Photos
Media you add to an effect is copied into the app's own private storage on your device. Importing uses Apple's system photo picker, which gives the app only the items you pick. If you choose to save an AI-cleaned result back to your photo library, the app asks for add-only permission at that moment.
AI cleanup
Image and video processing runs entirely on your device using a bundled CoreML model. No media leaves your phone.
Diagnostics
The app sends no crash reports or usage data. If you report a problem by email, only what you choose to write to me is shared.
Children
AC Matrix is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Everything the app stores lives inside the app itself. Deleting AC Matrix from your device removes all of it.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
